About Galaxy Flying Academy
Galaxy Flying Academy (GFA) is one of the largest flight training academies in Bangladesh. GFA is the first residential private flight academy in the country. It operates 5 training aircraft for flight training of the students. The academy has trained more than 200 students so far and the numbers of its current students are 104 as of June 2020.
The ground classes of the academy are conducted in Dhaka while its flight training is carried out at Shah Mukhdum Airport , Rajshahi. GFA has agreement with the leading airlines and other academies of the country. The Academy is certified by the Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh; its Certificate of Approval number is 03.
History of GFA
Galaxy Flying Academy Ltd has been established on 08 June 2008 as a private limited company. It starts its training operations from 29 October 2010. Its management has been changed on 01 October 2015. Two members new Board of Directors has been formed. Mr. Mohammed Younus becomes the Managing Director. Wg. Cdr. ( Retd) ATM Nazrul Islam, Ph.D, psc has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer.
